Abstract

SOIJET, Mirta et al. La complementariedad de procesos opuestos: Santa Fe-Paraná en el inicio de la consolidación metropolitana. Pampa [online]. 2017, n.15, pp.83-106. ISSN 2314-0208.

Metropolitan Region Santa Fe-Paraná, is being shown as a urban-rural area, which having surpassed one million inhabitants, recognized as characteristic the duplication of the traditional central city in two: Paraná and Santa Fe, bonded locations, perimeter cities and small towns in the defined inner ring. As a part of the investigation in course are being developed studies about different aspects of urban-territorial conformation. In this paper a study of their dynamics is presented, with the information of the 2010 Census. In terms of results, this socio-spatial analysis allows detecting the evolution of a series of processes that merit depth and continuity of a transition to an organizational model with evidence of the integration of new areas to agglomeration and the time consolidation of some metropolitan subcenters, able to influence the integral structure.

Keywords : Metropolitan Area; Santa Fe-Paraná; Territorial analysis.
