Abstract

CASTRO, Ramiro Luis. Agricultores familiares en la Economía Social y Solidaria: agentes catalizadores de la Soberanía Alimentaria. Pampa [online]. 2021, n.23, pp.33-33. ISSN 2314-0208.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.14409/pampa.2021.23.e0033.

The article explores the question of productive development in rural areas from an approach to the peri-urban situation of the city of Paraná, Entre Ríos. It focuses on small agricultural holdings, reviewing associativity as the main component of producer networks. Based on this, suggests that it is possible to establish Local Productive Systems that link, through the Social and Solidarity Economy, small producers and other actors of the agri-food networks. It proposes family farmers as key actors in the system, incorporates the struggle between the agroecological and extractive models, and exposes the tension that is generated around Food Sovereignty by presenting it as a political objective in tune with Territorial Development.

Keywords : Associativity; Local Productive Systems; Social and Solidarity Economy; Family Farming; Food Sovereignty.
