The work proposes to detect the technological aspects applied in the mining of NW of Mendoza in the centuries XVII-XIX. Across the report and interpretation of historical and historiographical documents, we demonstrates the application of mining techniques and technologies, during the colonial and republican periods, that allowed transitions and transformations of mining productive forces in Paramillos of Uspallata. Thus, we presents how this site was converted into a modern industrial pole under the capitalism system.
