Abstract
GALIMBERTI, Cecilia Inés. PLANIFICAR EL TERRITORIO METROPOLITANO: Historia de la planificación regional de Rosario (1935-1976). Rev. hist. am. argent. [online]. 2016, vol.51, n.1, pp.69-101. ISSN 2314-1549.
The coastal area of southern Santa Fe has a uniquely regional identity. This tacit condition that encompasses and unifies a series of locations around the central city of Rosario -Santa Fe, Argentina-, on the banks of the Parana river, is recognized not only from the process of formation and transformation of the region, but It is also considered the starting point for the local urban development. From the first decades of the 20th century, with the approval of the first regulatory plan of the city in 1935, extended gaze of the regional territory is essential in the definition of the guidelines arising from the plans and proposed urban studies. This article, through the critical - interpretative analysis of different regulatory schemes, it is proposed to explain the relevance of the regional perspective in the history of planning of the city of Rosario.
