Abstract

DIAZ NIEVA, José. EL NACIONALISMO CHILENO UNA CORRIENTE POLÍTICA INCONEXA. Rev. hist. am. argent. [online]. 2018, vol.53, n.1, pp.167-202. ISSN 2314-1549.

We intend to review diachronically Chilean Nationalism between 1910, the centennial of the emancipation from Spain, and 1973, the year of President Salvador Allende's fall. It is not our purpose to conduct a linear review of the different organizations which shaped Chilean Nationalism, and this review may not be exhaustive. The starting point is a personal classification subject to discussion which divides Chilean Nationalism in four blocks: the Republican Nationalism, the Fascist one, Populism and anti-comunist Nationalism. In each of these four domains we study their most qualified leaders.

Keywords : Chile; Nationalism; Fascism; Populism; Anticommunism.
