Abstract

GARGANO, Sofía. Estrategias de enseñanza en las materias vinculadas a la salud de las Carreras de Educación Física de la FaHCE-UNLP. Educ. fís. cienc. [online]. 2019, vol.21, n.4, pp.99-99. ISSN 2314-2561.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.24215/23142561e099.

University education is currently in a changing context and must meet new social demands. Within this framework, we seek to understand the assessment of teachers and students on teaching strategies in matters related to health in the FaHCE-UNLP Physical Education Course of Studies. We aim to know which strategies are used more frequently, which ones are preferred and which are rejected, to see why certain teaching strategies are more appreciated than others and to understand the needs of students and teachers based on their experiences as learners or as teachers. The methodology is mixed, concurrent triangulation design. On the one hand, the quantitative aspects are descriptive, non-experimental and transversal design. On the other hand, the qualitative aspects are phenomenological design, non-probabilistic or directed sample. Interviews and questionnaires were used for data collection. The results were analyzed using the SPSS and Atlas.ti programs. The experience of students and teachers indicates that the teaching strategies required are those aimed at practical action in different contexts and training and development of operational skills. The integration between these strategies and those that seek to assimilate knowledge and cognitive development should be increased.
