This article aims to analyze the quantities and destinations of precious metals that left from the River Plate port complex during the last decades of the 18th century. 18,787 items in ship-departure records were processed. For the previous period, data produced by Fernando Jumar in his doctoral thesis were used. The hypothesis is that in these decades the entry of precious metals into Cadiz was stable, the increase occurring into other ports of the peninsula.
