Abstract

OLIVETTI ESPINA, Miguel. La ubicuidad de la comunicación en la gestión de la extensión universitaria. Un análisis sobre el Programa Integral APEX de la Universidad de la República. Rev. ext. univ. [online]. 2022, n.16, pp.4-4. ISSN 2346-9986.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.14409/extension.2022.16.ene-jun.e0006.

The development of practices and knowledge from the field of communication in the Programa Apex (Learning and Extension) of the University of the Republic (Uruguay). In this way, a series of substantive elements of the epistemological paradigms that support the configuration of the Program are exposed. Contributions are also provided regarding its institutional organization and the importance of communication thought in it, as well as its historical evolution. Nodes of singular importance appear in the exhibition framework: 1) the development of the “Communication and Territory” Platform, with contributions from critical discourse analysis to territorial approaches; 2) the condition of ubiquity of communication in the management of the Programa APEX. This supports the idea that communication and extension are key fields of articulation for the paradigm of integrality. Where theoretical and methodological contributions from the field of communication are relevant when updating territorial and community approaches in university extension.

Keywords : ubiquity; Integral APEX Program; communication; territory; university extension.
