This article focuses on presenting various perspectives, conceptions and questions for a situated approach to communication in the constitutive social practices of university extension. It is developed on the basis of reflections and systematization of different experiences carried out in multiple instances resulting from the encounter with the community within the framework of particular projectsof the careers of the Department of Communication of the Faculty of Human Sciences of the National University of San Luis.
