Abstract

This article reviews the trajectory and the contributions that the UNAH Society magazine makes to the function of linking university society from the promotion of academic writing. For this, it will recognize the approaches on extension that marked the Autonomous University of Honduras from 1976 until arriving at the model of critical extension, which today defines its institutional policy and that impacts on the journal's own editorial policy.

The university's own articles that were published by the magazine since 2014 will be taken to review the writing clues that evoke the models that define the practices with the community. At the end, the challenges that the editorial team faces in promoting another way of telling the extension based on the critical approach are described.
