Abstract

GREEN, Ivy  and  PADILLA, Ivania. La integralidad desde el Modelo Educativo de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras: una propuesta para la formación crítica de estudiantes. Rev. ext. univ. [online]. 2023, n.18, pp.5-5. ISSN 2346-9986.

The purpose of this article is to provide theoretical and methodological elements to advance in the integrality of the university curriculum at National Autonomous University of Honduras, taking into account the integrating axes of the Educational Model and the functions of teaching, research and connection with society. Proposals and articulation routes that are promoted in other universities in the southern cone are presented, which provide reflections on the impact of the integrality of the curriculum to promote critical citizenship. It is concluded that the current National Autonomous University of Honduras Educational Model proposes strategies and devices for the integrality of functions, the integration of disciplines and the participation of the university in solving the main problems of Honduran society. Therefore, it is possible to consider other ways of questioning the given knowledge and creating new knowledge, with the participation of students and teachers, at the same time that concrete solutions to social problems in the communities are built together with the social actors.

Keywords : integrality of university functions; comprehensive university practices; UNAH educational model; comprehensive training spaces.
