Abstract

Studies on literate practices and/or the field of academic literacies have proliferated over the last 20 years in Latin America and the world. Within this framework, networks and organizations devoted to their development have been created, among which is the Argentine Network of Reading and Writing Institutions in Higher Education. Since its creation, various actions integrating teaching, research and extension have been carried out in a collegial manner. This article describes extension actions jointly developed within the framework of the aforementioned network, recognising the inescapable role of this function as a comprehensive space for the production of knowledge with others, and in dialogue with teaching and research practices.
