Abstract

Within the context of the question mark over the processes of construction the city, this article studies the debates and the project´s alternatives and 9 of July Avenue´s construction work in Buenos Aires , imagined at the end of the XIX century and built in the ´30s decade. We start with the assumption in which the study of the projects allows to examine the short and long times ´conjunction, the action plans of the individual and collective actors, as well as the joint between ideas and changes in urban space. From that perspective, we analyze the logic techniques, politics and advertisement ´s strategies which take part around the public buildings. Firstly, we identify the actors and the strategies that play behind the decision- making. Secondly we focus on architecture and urbanism projects, which were creating to the site. Finally, we check the role that the graphing had, which was used as a resource of advertising and spreading.
