Abstract

Francisco Salamone's work reveals that there are many possible interpretations towards the quality and valuation of our Modernity. Some of them belong to the most visible aspects of that Modernity, but many others are hidden within the folds of our own history, waiting to be revealed, expecting to reconfigure new maps of our cultural identity. The revision of this legacy shall let us reelaborate notions such as "modernity", "modernization", "modernism", "identity", "place", "landscape", from a new critical approach that will allow us to construct new narratives.
