The corpus of the images has diverse thematic cores, among which are found links with advertising and propaganda, in order to recognize the modalities that are adopted by the symbolization of the body while at the beach, announcements, brochures, and posters are used as a visual entry to the social field. The main objective is to understand that the reading of the visual cultural allows the tracing of the conventions and tensions between feminity and masculinity imaginaries, in a time with strong modifications in gender issues.
