Abstract

SCHWAMBERGER, Cintia. LA ESCUELA NOS ELIGE A NOSOTROS: TRAYECTORIAS ESCOLARES DE ESTUDIANTES CON DISCAPACIDAD EN CONTEXTOS DE POBREZA URBANA . Rev. Esc. Cienc. Educ. [online]. 2019, vol.1, n.14, pp.133-148. ISSN 1851-6297.

The present article proposes, through research results in the Metropolitan Region of Buenos Aires, to characterize the inclusion-exclusion processes of students with disabilities in special education schools located in contexts of urban poverty. Through an ethnographic work in education we describe the tensions that occur in educational trajectories, recovering the voices of the protagonists. We propose that institutions daily make school to replace the discourses of inclusion in precarious and extremely vulnerable contexts. Firstly, we analyze the educational policies implemented and a brief historical overview. Next, we propose that the inclusion / exclusion dynamics that are transferred to the interior of the schools have a direct impact on the trajectories of the students. Finally, we describe the proposals carried out by the institutions from the perspective of the students and the educational actors involved.

Keywords : Schooll trajectories; Inclusion Exclusion; Disability; Urban Poverty.
