Abstract

GIAMPAOLETTI, Noelia. LA ESCUELA TÉCNICA INDUSTRIAL Y LAS DISPUTAS POR LA LEGITIMACIÓN DE LOS SABERES DEL TRABAJO. Rev. Esc. Cienc. Educ. [online]. 2020, vol.1, n.15, pp.44-52. ISSN 1851-6297.

This article presents a reconstruction of the possible history of the industrial technical school, considering it to be a particular educational institution that has been dealing with an issue: as of the enactment of the National Education Law 26202/06 it has been regarded as one of the secondary school diplomas students can receive on completion of compulsory secondary school education. However, from the beginning, its purpose, social function and pedagogic subject have significantly differed from those of the non- technical secondary school. By carrying out a thorough analysis of the periodization of the political context, we propose taking into consideration the struggles to legitimize vocational education and training; it is in this sense that the historical course from the notions of cultural capital and aesthetic capital, that have striven throughout the history of this particular institution, is problematized. Then, an analysis regarding the importance and the ways of implementing vocational education and training in the national regulations of education of the last decades will be carried out by asking ourselves what the social effects of the aesthetic dispositions are, and what their articulation with the culture of a certain period is.

Keywords : Vocational Education and Training; Knowledge; State; Cultural Capital; Aesthetic Capital.
