Abstract

SAN JULIAN, Dolores. The repressive plan of the argentine Navy and the infiltration in the founding group of Mothers of Plaza de Mayo (1977). Av. Cesor [online]. 2017, vol.14, n.16, pp.111-129. ISSN 1514-3899.

The aim of this article is to explore the repressive organization built by the Navy during the last dictatorship in Argentina (1976-1983). To do so it analyses the implementation of the PLACINTARA/75, the operative programme drawn up by the Navy in 1975 in order to contribute to the so called “war against subversion”. In first place, it is proposed an historical and conceptual framework, exploring the normative, ideological, theoretical and methodological references that served to the elaboration of that plan, attending to the elements in which the french and american doctrinaire influences can be recognized. In second place, the presence of those elements in the PLACINTARA/75 and repressive practices of the ESMA´s Tasks Group, is analysed with focus on the infiltration among Mothers of Plaza de Mayo and the kidnappings that followed it. Finally, some reflexions are proposed about the military logic and the place that it ocuppy in the studies about last dictatorship.

Keywords : PLACINTARA/75; Contrarrevolutionary War; ESMA.
