Abstract

ROBLEDO, Silvia. Research in Geography through the projects approved and financed by the UNCUYO, 1997-2022. Bol. estud. geogr. [online]. 2022, n.118, pp.117-134.  Epub July 06, 2023. ISSN 2525-1813.  http://dx.doi.org/10.48162/rev.40.022.

Recovering memory from reviewing the path traveled is a practice that contributes to strengthening the history of institutions and disciplines. In this case, it was proposed to investigate the last 25 years of geographic research within the framework of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters through projects approved and financed by the National University of Cuyo.

On the 75th anniversary of the emergence of Geography in Cuyo, it is considered appropriate to review the path traveled and characterize it.

One way to reflect the itinerary of geographical thought in our environment is to analyze the academic-scientific production through the research projects that the National University of Cuyo has evaluated. This allows us to value the past and project ourselves into the future.

Some questions arise: What place do geographical proposals occupy in the calls? In these 25 years, have the themes, the geographical scale, the methodologies been maintained?

In order to bring some answers closer, this contribution is presented.

Keywords : research; geography; projects; history of geography.
