Institutions are built from the contributions that each member makes to it. An important role, in this sense, is played by those who manage these institutions; throughout their historical time they leave their mark and trace an institutional path. The main objective of this text is to pay homage to the historical makers of the Institute and Department of Geography of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the National University of Cuyo, making an interpretation of some aspects as a contribution to institutional history and contributing to the memory.
