Abstract

This work proposes the compilation of the results of the processing of the variables that allowed each Census operation to develop a Quality of Life Index (QLI) for the Argentine territory. The first 10 National Censuses were carried out during the following years: 1869, 1895, 1914, 1947, 1960, 1970, 1980, 1991, 2001 and 2010. Population variables referring to the health and education of the population and variables were selected. housing and environmental. The evolution of the indicator over the years and the different spatial configuration of the country is analyzed.
