Aim
To present the surgical resolution of an infrequent clinical case in a pediatric patient who suffered traumatic herniation of Bichat’s fat pad.
Clinical case
A 3-year-old patient who visited the Emergency Service at the “Don Victorio Tetamanti” Hospital in Mar del Plata after suffering a trauma which caused the partial displacement of Bichat’s fat pad. Although this type of emergency is quite rare, it is important to know how to perform proper diagnosis and treatment.
