HERNANDEZ, Marcelo. Educación, propiedad privada y trabajo en Rousseau. Consideraciones sobre el naufragio de la igualdad en la sociedad moderna. Espac. blanco, Ser. indagaciones [online]. 2023, vol.33, n.2, pp.155-155. ISSN 1515-9485. http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.37177/unicen/eb33-368.
This work is developed from the field of educational theories with the aim of discussing Jean Jacques Rousseau's postulates that imbued the foundations of modern education and remain valid among the main tasks of institutionalized education.
The education of workers and citizens has its origin in the critique of the inequalities of the absolutist state and its permanence among the mandates of education cannot be separated from current social relations. The paper explores various works of the French philosopher, with special attention to his reading of Robinson Crusoe, with the aim of reflecting on the relationship between political equality and material inequality from the conceptions of work and private property that are part of the Rousseaunian theory and are also closely related to the formation of the virtuous subject demanded by his proposal of social contract.
Keywords : social relations; critique of private property; work; practical activity; virtuous subject training.
