Abstract

MARKUS, Gabriel. Finitud y yo absoluto: La crítica de Heidegger a Fichte. Tópicos [online]. 2010, n.19, pp.00-00. ISSN 1666-485X.

In his reading of Fichte's Wissenschaftslehre of 1794 Heidegger claims that Fichte is not able to think the finitude of knowledge. He argues that Fichte's repudiation of the notion of the thing-in-itself amounts to a denial of finitude. In this paper I defend the opposite view: Fichte not only fully recognizes the finitude of knowledge, but also grounds it in a practical dimension close to Heidegger's notion of "care" (Sorge).

Keywords : Heidegger; Fichte; Epistemology; Finitude.
