Abstract

CABRERA-CISNEROS, Omar  and  PRINA, Aníbal Oscar. Euphorbia weberbaueri (Euphorbiaceae), nuevo registro para Ecuador. Bol. Soc. Argent. Bot. [online]. 2013, vol.48, n.1, pp.137-141. ISSN 1851-2372.

Euphorbia weberbaueri Mansf. is now recorded for first time for Ecuador. This species, reported as endemic to northern Peru, is cited now for southern Ecuador; plant specimens were collected in two spots of dry scrub of the Loja Province (Catamayo and Saraguro counties) and places with similar climatic characteristics in the Azuay province. A brief description, a map of potential distribution and pictures of the species are given.
