Abstract

NURIA, Giniger  and  CINTHIA, Wanschelbaum. Cimientos de la privatización educativa. Terrorismo de Estado, Responsabilidad Social Empresaria y Educación durante el gobierno de Mauricio Macri. Rev. Pilquen. secc. cienc. soc. [online]. 2022, vol.25, n.3, pp.47-73. ISSN 1851-3123.

In this article we propose to describe and analyze the relationship between State terrorism, particularly the role of companies in the development of policies aimed at the commodification and privatization of education through Corporate Social Responsibility and as one of the strategies of the right-wing offensive in education. The analysis of these relationships emerged from the empirical work we carried out in our research. There we warned that during the government of Mauricio Macri, the president of the Foundation Cimientos -one of the foundations with which the the National Ministry of Education signed an agreement- was Miguel Blaquier, lawyer and nephew of Carlos Blaquier, owner of Ingenio Ledesma, a company that has proven participation in the civil-military-ecclesiastical dictatorship. The orientations and actions of the educational policy of Macri´s government were organically linked to the needs that companies, directly or through their foundations and NGOs, demand from the public educational system, and the case of Cimientos reveals the historical plot of privatization of the public and the communication links of a government that inscribed its administration in continuity with the neoliberal policy established through State terrorism.

Keywords : Commodification and privatization of education; Corporate Social Responsibility; Foundations; Public education.
