Abstract

As of the decade of '50, the post-estructuralist theory, on the one hand, and the semiotics, on the other, initiated a strong critic towards the neopositivists theoretical currents, affirming that it does not exist nothing else material that the speech and that was necessary to extend the content analysis, until then dominant. However, both currents usually are seen like incompatible to each other, forcing to choose between one of them of the approaches. This work tries to show that, beyond certain divergences, bridges of theoretical and empirical union can tender. For it, it is taken like reference to two from his more important currents: the sociosemiotic theory of Eliseo Verón and the theory of the hegemony of Ernesto Laclau. According to one maintains, it exists between these two important theories sources of making compatible and complementariness, observable in the priority that both grant to the conditions of possibility and the conflicting dimension of all speech.
