The SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic has generated several social and economic challenges. The context of crisis and uncertainty has demonstrated how individuals and social groups have come together in the name of “solidarity”. This ethnographic account examines the construction of support networks across different social spaces in Partido de San Andrés de Giles. The focus is on the relational dimension of these networks, which are based on neighborly and kinship connections, as well as the dynamics of exchange and social support among individuals. These characteristics produced a field of actions, strategies, and organizations to face the socio-sanitary crisis. We consider that this deserves special attention from the field of social anthropology.
