Abstract

ZAROWSKY, Mariano. Gramsci and translation: Genesis and significances of a metaphor. Prismas [online]. 2013, vol.17, n.1. ISSN 1852-0499.

The aim of this paper is to interpretate the gramscian notion of translation by making a genealogy of the emergence of the metaphor in the itinerary of Antonio Gramsci, and by describing the multiples senses taken by that metaphor. This work is part of the recent contributions that, in the frame of the intellectual history in Argentina, have analyzed the activity of translation and the intellectual figure as a translator, with the purpose of thinking both the processes of reception of marxism in the continent and the theoric elaboration of a Latin-American Marxism.
