Abstract

CORTEZ OVIEDO, P. Sebastián  and  FINQUELIEVICH, Susana. Augmented city and pandemic Living in the Digital Order. Cuad. urbano [online]. 2021, vol.31, n.31, pp.203-203. ISSN 1853-3655.  http://dx.doi.org/10.30972/crn.31315784.

This paper raises questions around the city as an idea, space and discipline. It reflects on the relations between the urban, the Covid-19 pandemic and its high process of digitization from successive preventive isolations, where the Digital Order would have expressed itself as an emerging territory of social, productive and political processes. It seeks to promote a disciplinary debate for Architecture and Urbanism about these processes with high impact on urban design. How do these disciplines position and characterize the phenomenon? How 'digital' affects urban logics of central-periphery shaping and prefiguration. What new territories promote digitalism in the urban, both in public and domestic spaces. To which point can transdisciplinary approaches contribute to this urban process?
