Abstract
TARTACOVSKY, Patricia. Diálogo entre crossmedia y transmedia. El caso de The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Intersecc. comun. (En línea) [online]. 2024, vol.1, n.18, pp.5-. ISSN 2250-4184. http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.51385/ic.v2i17.
The case of The Rocky Horror Picture Show narrative is analyzed in its crossmedia and transmedia aspects, taking a tour of the different productions that have emerged over more than four decades of exhibition. The case shows the possibility of expanding a narrative universe through the active participation of the audience, even before the massive development of digital media had occurred. The interaction between the audience and the feature, especially through the complementary interactive script created by the audience, has generated a dialogue between crossmedia and transmedia productions which has the same tenor as the dialogue between authors and prosumers, that remains valid even today.
