In 2016 we constituted an academic chair team for the subject Anthropology and Sociology of dry zones, which belongs to the fourth year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Biology of Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales at Universidad Nacional de San Juan. This article seeks to share experiences and reflections focused on the development of Socio–Educational Practices from the Critical Extension during the period 2022–2023, in order to integrate, articulate, link and network different university functions. The experiences that we share here are not developed in isolation; they are rather articulated, with their nuances and particularities, to a set of proposals and decisions of the argentinian national university system. We start from understanding the integrality of functions in public universities as a political commitment in construction–tension.
