Janusz Korczak was a Polish Jewish doctor who developed an intense and innovative training and educational activity with children and young people from the beginning of the twentieth century to the World War II. Initiated this and prisoners the Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto, he created an asylum where he gave shelter to orphaned children and young people without abandoning his pedagogical and humanistic concepts.
