Abstract

ZAMUDIO, Alicia M.; LEIVA, Sandra E.  and  FERNANDEZ, Miriam A.. INTEGRACIÓN CURRICULAR: UN PROCESO DE INVESTIGACIÓN ACERCA DEL CURRICULUM UNIVERSITARIO. Rev. Esc. Cienc. Educ. [online]. 2019, vol.2, n.14, pp.28-40. ISSN 1851-6297.

Curricula in Higher Education have traditionally adopted a fragmented disciplinary organization. However, it is often emphasized that professional practice requires skills and abilities to articulate relevant knowledge in the resolution of problems that are complex and multidetermined. Within the framework of innovation processes of Higher Education, curricular integration, is a goal to be achieved and a problem to be solved. For this reason, the development of studies and systematic research is relevant and contribute both to the processes of academic policy and teaching. This article aims to present a research process on curriculum in Higher education around the main idea of integration, based on the adaptation and application of the Harden´s Integration Ladder (Harden 2000).

Keywords : Curriculum; Higher Education; Integration; Learning Programmes; Harden`s Integration Ladder.
