The Peruvian species Senecio chiribogae and S. tingoensis are transferred to Pentacalia, and Pentacalia vallejiana is placed under the former species. A taxonomic discussion is presented for both species as well as a key to the species of Pentacalia chiribogae group and a distribution map.
