Based on research on first Peronism at nacional and regional level, this paper will focus on the formation of Peronism from a provincial perspective, in order to get better understanding of the Peronist political leadership of Entre Ríos, the party which governed such province between 1946 and 1950. In this way, the political trajectories of the legislators who occupied the provincial Chambers of Deputies and Senators between 1946 and 1950 will be studied. Hence we will emphasise their political trajectories to analyse the selection criteria for the office they held. Our hypothesis is that in the criteria for the distribution of seats, both the political sector to which they belonged and the city from which they came were relevant. In the Chamber of Deputies there was, on the basis of a political agreement, an equal distribution of seats between Radical Renovadores and Labour. On the other hand, the Labour sector was the majority in the Chamber of Senators. Methodologically, we will carry out a reconstruction of collective biographies in order to get a better insight of the political trajectories of the leaders in question.
