FRIEDMANN, Germán. El Frente Negro y el Movimiento Alemania Libre en la Argentina durante las décadas de 1930 y 1940. Bol. Inst. Hist. Argent. Am. Dr. Emilio Ravignani [online]. 2014, n.40, pp.73-104. ISSN 0524-9767.
This article analyzes the foundation and organization of the Black Front and the Frei-Deutschland Bewegung movements in Argentina in the 1930's and 1940's, as well as their actions. Both organizations opposed the Third Reich and were led by exiled Otto Strasser. One of the main organizers of the German National-Socialist party, Strasser left his country in 1933 due to his violent confrontation with Hitler, whom he accused of being a traitor to the ideals of National-Socialism. The article focuses on the networks established by members of both organizations and other countries in America; their role in denouncing the "Nazi infiltration" of the Southern Cone of South America; and their relations with German-speaking anti-Nazis in Argentina.
