This article aims to analyse a series of senses, articulations and tensions that have recently gone through the design and implementation of teaching policies in Argentina. The research field work consisted on locating, compilation and systematization of documental sources related to the deployment of teaching policies by the Ministry of Education during former president Macri's government (2015-2019), to identify and reconstruct the main senses that organised them. In this theoretical and methodological frame, the research has identified three axis of meaning production: the first one, the relationship between quality of education and school inclusion; the second one, the place that teaching and the field of pedagogy should occupy in teaching training and work; the third one, the ways of publicly (-in) validating and (-under) estimating teaching potentials.
