From an interpretative approach to the case Reality Shows in Chile, this displays some structural features of the current workings of television, made a review theoretical and conceptual considered relevant when studying and understanding diverse features that characterize of television in the twenty-first century at the mediatic production and TV consumption. This has taken an interdisciplinary approach that enables to propose conceptual diversity that contributes to a current discussion about to television study in a media context in which Reality Shows have a fundamental role.
