This paper focuses on the city of Villa General Belgrano, located in Calamuchita Valley. It intends to describe and analyze a heterogeneous series of strategies deployed in that space to support at all costs the "tale" which maintains that the Villa represents a central European village. It is a complex and efficient device [dispositif], which involves most of the inhabitants and innumerable objects with the explicit main goal of attracting tourist flow but with the underlying meaning of a triumphant ideological position, of a myth.
