The recovery and conservation of the archaeological and historical heritage of our country enables different viewpoints by the diffusion of the results of this work, in addition to the importance and value that such work has for the self-identity of indigenous communities. Focusing on the archaeological micro-region of Huacalera (Quebrada de Humahuaca, Jujuy Province), collaboration between the local population and the archaeologists was promoted. The archaeologists worked with the local community in the utilization and enhancement of the cultural heritage recovered. The enhancement of La Huerta archaeological site is designed to recover the cultural legacy and strengthen the identity of the local community, as well as give the visitor information about the past. The first step was the installation of a Site Museum.
