Resumen

DE LA CASA, Antonio  y  NASELLO, Olga. Partial Trends Of Rainy Days And Annual Mean Intensity In The Province Of Córdoba, Argentina. Meteorologica [online]. 2012, vol.37, n.2, pp.67-77. ISSN 1850-468X.

The partial trends that have experienced rainy days (DD), average intensity (INT) and total annual precipitation (PP) in the province of Córdoba, Argentina, during the final part of the twentieth century and the beginning of the current are studied. The analyzed series are daily rainfall records provided by the National Weather Service for the stations: Córdoba Observatory (CO), Pilar (PI), Villa Maria de Rio Seco (VMRS), Villa Dolores (VD), Marcos Juárez (MJ), Laboulaye (LB) and Rio Cuarto (RC). The analysis was performed using the method of partial trends or break points developed by Tomé and Miranda (2004). In addition, the statistical significance of trends for the periods defined by each break point was assessed using the Mann-Kendall. In a region where total PP trends are increasing, the results show that changes in PP partial trends in some places are associated with DD and in others with INT. It is concluded that in the province of Córdoba there was not a systematic relationship between the trends of total precipitation to the average intensity and / or to the number of rainy days a year.
