Resumen

MAFFEI, Fabián. Propagated Presence for Higher Education. Rev. iberoam. tecnol. educ. educ. tecnol. [online]. 2021, n.28, pp.214-220. ISSN 1851-0086.

The proposal presented in this article outlines the central features of a new conceptual category of presence that is exposed as overcoming the traditional conceptions, which provides teaching strategies in Higher Education for the monitoring of real trajectories. Propagated Presence, is coined from classroom practice in Higher Education in Argentina, gives centrality to the appropriation of the digital environment and incorporates elements of the physical environment, proposes a scenario without duality, in which there is no “presence or virtuality”, no there is "distance". For the implementation of Propagated Presentiality in Superior classrooms, it is proposed to generate institutional conditions of appropriation by the teaching body through devices that focus on transmedia literacy and in response to the characterizations of new forms of consumption. Hybrid scenarios are currently envisioned in the post-pandemic and Propagated Presence is proposed as a powerful scenario in the immediate future. New edges open up to enrich this conceptual category with the contributions of the systematization of classroom practices carried out in Higher Education institutions.
