Resumen

HOZ, Gabriela; WALLACE, Yamila  y  HEREDIA, Eugenia. Remote literacy at the beginning of primary school: An analysis of proposals published by the province of Buenos Aires in Argentina. Rev. iberoam. tecnol. educ. educ. tecnol. [online]. 2021, n.28, pp.282-293. ISSN 1851-0086.

On March 16th, the Argentine national government suspended face-to-face classes at all levels of education due to the health emergency caused by COVID-19. Then, as a result of this, a process to develop teaching materials to accompany remote learning was initiated. Each provincial jurisdiction took its own initiative based on the concern for suitability to local contexts. Statistical reports conducted at the national level show a huge inequality in the provision of technological resources to support educational activity. One of the most widely used distance learning resources is jurisdictional teaching materials, especially in the most vulnerable households. These jurisdictional materials allow an approximation to some of the ways in which they conceive the contents are conceived, their teaching and their learning in terms of distance education. The analysis carried out on the materials produced for the area Language Arts of the Province of Buenos Aires will be presented, focusing on the contents involved and the reading situations oriented towards literacy at the beginning of primary schooling.

Palabras clave : Educational materials; Remote learning; Distance literacy; Reading.
