The present article has the objective of analyzing the applicability of the Augmented Reality (AR) in the educational scope, focusing on the teaching of Natural Sciences, through a bibliographical revision, guided by the Systematic Review of Literature (RSL) procedure. A total of 184 articles were collected between 2010 and 2018, and a total of 15 papers were analyzed based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, through searches in academic search engines (MBAs). The contents discussed, main platforms for the development of AR and their contributions and potentialities in the teaching and learning process were analyzed. As a general result, it was possible to identify that the insertion of AR in Education is promising and it is possible to identify intrinsic competences through applications of activities in the teaching of Natural Sciences.
