Resumen

FERRARI, Liliana Edith  y  FILIPPI, Graciela Leticia. Identity, identification and accomplishment in contemporary work: Transformations of: labor self-concept and involvement with concrete-work. Anu. investig. [online]. 2009, vol.16, pp.127-133. ISSN 1851-1686.

According to the political priority assigned to the creation of worthy work for contemporary Latin American, we expose the results of the exploration carried between 2004-2007 in terms of meaning and practices of work. It is framed in UBACyT-P015 Project "Workers' psychosocial risks. Subjective and inter-subjective effects of labor precarization": a post-2001 crisis revision based in empirical research. We specifically analyze the significant findings referred to self-concept and involvement, applied in a cross-sectional study to two samples with participants of Buenos Aires City and surroundings. From the descriptive-correlational study, we expose and interpret the tendencies that outline at-risk groups, where stand out the dangers of low inclusion, little opportunity of integration and difficulties of identification with their present working practices or with the absence of it. The outstanding findings are discussed in terms of educative competitions, unemployment-under employment circuit, youth, gender and opportunities.

Palabras clave : Self-concept; Involvement; Work; Identity.
