QUIROGA, Susana y CRYAN, Glenda. Basic patterns of the intrapsychic family organization in violent adolescents from a transgenerational outlook. Anu. investig. [online]. 2012, vol.19, n.1, pp.249-260. ISSN 1851-1686.
The Focalised Therapy Group- FTG device, psychodynamically oriented, short-term and focalised is a group diagnostic-therapeutic device designed to approach act pathologies. For the treatment of early violent adolescents, a therapeutic guide was constructed that includes the specific objectives, their development and the specific technique to achieve them. In this research work we present one of the specific objectives of the FTG which was operationalized in the therapeutic guide: describe and understand the family composition. To achieve this goal, we developed a diagnostic graph type family that allows patients to project the bond interrelationship in space, which is possible to deduce the mental construction of intergenerational bonds. Three basic patterns of the intrapsychic family organization of these bonds that emerged were detected: 1- relatively organised mental construction, 2- impaired mental construction and 3- chaotic mental construction of the intergenerational bond. Also, these three patterns could be subdivided into eight categories that are described and exemplified with the corresponding graph. The analysis of these three patterns and categories could understand the family composition of violent adolescents and psychic construction of the bonds established in their family of origin.
