The objetive of this article will be to discuss the meaning that graduate's in bachelor's degree in social communication (fce, uner) have about the technique knowledge included in its training itinerary. The inquiry is framed within the so-called qualitative studies, specifically, interpretive-descriptive and the research technique chosen was the in-depth interview. An interpretative-critical analysis of the corpus was carried out according to a reading hypothesis that aimed to identify the footprints of the meaning with respect to the evaluation of their training itinerary in the stories of the interviewees. The results of the analysis show the presence of nuances, chiaroscuro zones, around the evaluation of the training according to the route traveled by the interviewee. In general, the graduates rescue the openness and the exercise of the theoretical look that gave them the career in view of their labor insertions to the detriment of other positions that emphasize vacancies.
