DRESS syndrome is a severe adverse reaction to medicament which is most commonly presentedwith anticonvulsants and antibiotics. It is estimated that the mortality reaches10%;clinically the patients presentit with fever, lymphadenopathies, morbilliform cutaneous eruptions and terminal organ involvement.
Adverse skin reactions to medications occur in more than half of patients who have received systemic medications, such as anticonvulsants.
