Resumen

GONZALEZ JAUREGUI, Juliana. The State and the political plot of soybean complex in the trade and investment link between Argentina and China, 2002-2015. Ciclos hist. econ. soc. [online]. 2018, vol.29, n.51, pp.1-20. ISSN 1851-3735.

The economic projection of the People's Republic of China on the international stage during the 21st century, and the implementation of the policies of go out, go global, promoted in that country since 1999, notoriously collaborated with the Argentine reactivation after the post defaultcrisis. China became an important destination for Argentine agri-food products and an investor of growing relevance in sectors linked to exports. This paper reconstructs the facts and the actors who became creators and strengtheners of the political plot formed in Argentina within the framework of the commercial and investment link with China, between 2002 and 2015. It also explains the interaction between the government, through different official instances, and the predominant socioeconomic actors of the soybean complex, as a result of the trade with China and the reception of its investments; the public policies based on the requirements of that sector  are studied; as well as its implications for the development model, for the Argentina's international insertion, and for the bilateral trade and investment relationship forged with China. An original analytical prism is elaborated for this research, which associates theoretical contributions from different disciplines of the social sciences, especially from the international political economy and from the sociology of development. A qualitative methodological approach qualitative and  the case study strategy are applied.
